Our God is a great BIG God, and He holds me in his hands!!!!
This morning I had an appointment with Dr Tahir the oncologist, at Broomfield Hospital, and heard very good news. He said he had spoken with Mr Ross, the surgeon, reviewed all the reports and histology and all agreed that the tumour had been contained in the bowel had not spread. After further discussion it was agreed that as Chemo would only add 2% benefit (because I already have an excellent chance of complete recovery) that any further treatment would not be required.
I am now to be involved in a 5-year follow up programme which will involve blood test, CT scans, etc.
I have been reminded that I must still be careful, not drive for a few weeks and not return to work for a few weeks yet.
Thanks again for all your love, prayers and support, "to God be the glory for the things He has done"
Tony

God is Good, ALL THE TIME! Brilliant news, and we are delighted for you
Have a wonderful celebration tonight, and love to Brian & Jan
You know l've just got on the computer and read your first line and it's just what l needed to hear. It is so encouraging - l too had an appointment yesterday that went well (unfortunately have got to wait rather a long time for my results but am trusting Jesus on that one) Yesterday l was really thrilled and was praying and praising God and this afternoon l almost feel as if l fell in a pit - was probably singing and dancing with such a spring in my step l didn't even see the pit !! So reading your blog has given me such a reminder, to try and stay focused on the good stuff and to remember who is ultimately in charge!!
We are all really thrilled watching all the progress your making, it's been great to be able to keep updated reading your blog.
Blog on Tony !!
May God continue to bless you all.
Yaaaaaaaayy!! I feel indescribable joy at your news.
Lots of love,
Sarah & Kevin xx
That's the best news. We're so pleased for you all. I'm sure the Doc actually meant you should take it easy and go away for a couple of weeks to recuperate. I also heard the word "Malta" mentioned - but I'm not as in tune as I used to be - it could have been Miami, or Madrid.....
He certainly is a GREAT BIG GOD and holds us all in his hands!
Fantastic news Tony! Make sure you rest up!

Just to say that I am pleased that the news is as was expected, I know it must have been difficult to go through but there was aleays light at the end of the tunnel.
There is obviously a need to partake of doughnuts and coffee

Best regards
